Aside from the inconsistent service by our [unnamed] server, this was a great place to eat and watch the game. We were in town on vacation and was recommended by someone to catch the Duke-Maryland basketball game here on Saturday night. When we pulled up, it looked like a questionable place. Once we went inside, I was immediately surprised how nice it was. Our server was very nice but she was either new or distracted. She forgot alot of our food orders and forgot to bring us drink refills when asked. She even packed up a friend's leftover food but never brought it back to us. She did comp me on one of my items to make up for the mistakes so that was nice of her. Ended up tipping her fully anyway. We happened to show up on the night they do their free pour. Once a month they have a promotion where you pay $10 for a wrist band and you get all you can drink from 8-10pm. We ended up not getting it since we were only there to eat and catch the game at 6:00. By the time 8:00 rolled around, we were done drinking and just wanted to finish our cigars and drinks and head out. If I'm ever back in Myrtle, I'll definitely try stopping here again.

Haven't been to Remedies in years since this last weekend. I remember in the past they had a volleyball court etc... out back that had some draw to it on summer nights. It's gone now in favor of extra parking... I get it but volleyball and grass are cooler that a bunch of parked cars. They do still have a patio out back with its own bar and they had live music out there this past weekend. The place is in a pretty sketch area off 17 but, it's likely the least sketchy place in that strip of businesses. I think that the next door strip club being converted into a regular bar has probably helped deplete the shady-ness Remedies used to carry. I must admit that the staff was friendly and quick with the drinks while I was in. We hung out on the back patio the whole time and had a good time. After overlooking remedies for years... I'd say I would stop back in again.

Cheap prices and the banging shrimp was better than Bonefish Grills. Insufficient service for the neighborhood gathering we had. The two waitresses did their best to keep everyone satisfied. I was also forced to give them my credit card even after I showed them I had cash. Today I still see a dollar charge on my account, not happy with that

Bat cave, open late (until 6am), boring atmosphere, Yankees themed. Mostly frequented by service industry people after their shift ends. They do have a lot of games, two pool tables, golf pro, darts but I'm just not feeling the atmosphere these days. Food is so-so & drinks are fairly priced.

Went here on spring break and it was amazing. Great atmosphere, food, and specials. Definitely a great place for a good time and the food is great. We were looking for a young fun environment and found it here.

Remedies is definitely one of our new favorite places to hang out. For value, quality of service, ambiance and awesome food - it's hard to find another place that compares in Myrtle Beach! Last night for example, I had a corned beef rueben for the first time there and let me tell you... it was da freakin' bomb!!! Everytime I've ordered them elsewhere in the past (besides New York City of course) I've been ultra-disappointed. I would get a sandwich that was no thicker than an ordinary grilled cheese. But, not here! That sucker was big and thick on some of the tastiest rye bread I've ever tasted! Along with a set of fries, it was only $7 to boot! I've paid more and got less. In past visits, I've tried their cheesesteak pizza which was absolutely delicious. Their plain pizza is really good too! (I'm a big pizza critique and it surely passed the test.) Their burgers are huge and tasty. On another visit, I ordered a meatball sandwich that was sensationally yummy. I had a little less than half left when I offered my wife a bite and needless to say, she wouldn't give it back and devoured the rest. So, go figure. On top of it all, they keep their kitchen open late. This is a saving grace when your trying to find a place serving food after 10pm or 1am for that matter besides Denny's or The Waffle House. The place has way too many TVs, but that's a good thing right? Will be great during Football Season! And to find out they are one of the only New York Yankees / Giants sports bars in town - that was just icing on the cake for me since I'm a super-fan of the G-Men! They even have a sand volleyball court out back. What more can you ask for (besides not having live music, but oh well)? Remedies is a great place for a great value and the food is awesome!

I'm from New Jersey and love this bar. The volleyball court is gone to make room for more parking, which always is a problem because this place can get busy with locals and the afterwork service industry crowd. Drinks are reasonably priced and service good. A favorite bartender is affectionately known as Shaggy. Food is awesome and offers more than traditional bar eats. Remedies has great daily changing happy hour complimentry food and specials, such as chicken parm or prime rib dinners. Check them out on Facebook to keep current. The place stays open real late and can become a party depending on the crowd. The smoke can get bad and they need a big fan at the bar. My only complaint is that sometimes the crowd from the black strip club next door comes in for food and hijacks the jukebox with rap crap.
